TenMidnight borned at the end of 2003: it was 30 years (!) that Roberto Bovini (batterist and vocalist) was repeating to Bob Ranzi (keyboard) : “Come on, we must start again playing together!”. At the end, beated, Bob accepted. So they were joined by Tiziano Bolzoni (bass guitar), Ivan Bertuzzi (guitars) and Gabriele Carboni (flute and guitar).

From different characters it came up a curious musical mix: one prefers the american progressive (Kansas, Saga, Boston), another one loves the 70's Italian progressive and there is one that ranges from classic music to Genesis and ELP.

The result is an energic music, with strong voice and chorus and frequent surprises, tricky time changes, rithm and athmosphere. Sometimes the band spends a lot of testing hours to find out a very interesting music passage.

The outcome is their first CD self-produced in 2005 and soon they will be discovered by critics, heard on some radios and known amongst the progressive fans. In particular, they are appreciated by Mellow Records. In fact, they record a track under this label  for “Santana Tribute: Guitars dancing in the light” and  their second album “Run” in 2008. The TenMidnight are now working on a concept album together with a new guitarist, Matteo Giaculli, who joins them in 2008, and on a track about the Dante’s Purgatorio for Colossus-Musea Records.
