TIZIANO "TITTI" BOLZONI - bass
I was born on 20.11.1978 in Bologna under the "big" sign of Scorpio.
Since a child, I was very naughty and anyone around me got nervous... and this still happens today, sometimes...
However,
in the first year of primary school I started studying music and loving it with
the help of the flute and a very good teacher. Besides her lessons, I became
familiar with music by listening to all the music that my sister liked (a lot of
commercial pop: I remember with pleasure that she was used to listen to the LP
of Europe "The final countdown" and Bon Jovi).
When I as at the secondary school, I did not care too much about music (unfortunately), because I was always busy in causing damages. However, at the school concert of year end, I played the guitar. Playing guitar after many yeras of flute, it allowed me to extend my tastes for music and, mostly, it gave me the opportunity to play a lot on the seashore...
In that period, I took also solfeggio and piano lessons.
The discotheque age began when I was at the high school. I went often to the disco, not only for the music, but mainly for the girls...
Then I started to go to CADE and from that moment my tastes for music began to change again. I started listening to Pearl Jam, Metallica, Stone Temple Pilots .... Obviously, I never finished the school but I had good time!
At 16 years old I started working in a factory. But, in the meantime, I went very often to CADE and I kept playing guitar as autodidact with a great love for music but without taking it seriously.
One day, when I was at my friend’s house, I saw a live of Mr. Big who was playing with Billy Sheehan. It was love at first sight. I enrolled at the Music Academy 2000 where I started playing bass.
While I was working and also attending CADE, I studied scale, chords, harmony...
And
I started playing blues, pop, rock with many cover-bands. Until when I was
invited to play with Tenmidnight . Robby told me about his project
of making a CD
and I was very pleased to accept even if I was a little bit worried about my
poor experience. However, we started composing pieces and recording them. The
comments are up to you!
At the end of 2005 I will be finishing the Accademy and I will love music even more. I have always listened to every kind of music and I hope you will do the same as it is a good excercise for your ears and groove... Last but not least, music helps in every moment and it never leaves you.
Recently I am used to listen very much to:
Dream Theatre,
Mr. Big,
The Allman Brothers Band,
Deep Purple,
Weather Report,
Jimi Hendrix,
Stan Getz,
Marcus Miller,
John Patitucci.
And obviously the great J. S. Bach...
